Tru,

By the time you start mowing it wil lbe snowing. How do you get the cut grass out from under the snow? Fall is the time to work on the car as it isn't normally good driving weather.

Earl,

Glad the car is coming along so well. And the build manuals can be a little off at times. A few years ago a guy here got a kit of some kind and he really followed every instruction right down to measuing everything several times. The frame was even marked where he was supposed to weld the cowel bar and he had several of us make sure he had it perfectly aligned with the marks before he welded it and then he did a great job. I believe his remark was, "That won't ever come loose." All was great until the evening he asked 6 of us to come over and help sit the body on. He had the frame and everything complete and it was on a low wooden thing he built just to hold it high enough for the hubs to be off the ground. Well try as we may, we could not get the wheel hubs to fit into the wheel wells in the body. They were all four hitting the front of the body wheel wells. After finding another person with that kit, he found out the marks for welding the cowel bar were 6" to far back and it had to be taken out and moved forward. Boy, was he right about the great welding job and that it would never come loose.
