Default NorCal Cobra's Invite October 1st Çoastal Cruise

hello NorCal Cobra's, My name is Craig I am the President and Founder of California Mustang Club and would like to invite your club out to our Monthly club function.... Would be nice to meet some of you for future events and shows.

I do apoligize if I am out of line being my first post but I cant stop admireing your cars out on the roads

Here is the info if any of you would like to join us:

Here is the link to where the starting point of the cruise
will be. The parking lot is at a Long's Drug Store in Redwood City
right off Hwy 101 and Broadway On Woodside Road. The lot I know could
accommodate alot of cars. I do suggest that everyone should fill their gas
tanks right before they get there as there will be no gas stations for a
while.

We would exit out of the store parking lot and head west on Hwy 84 (
Woodside Rd ) Go over Interstate 280 and throught the town of
Woodside. We will still continue on Hwy 84 (Woodside Rd ) until we arrive
at a "Y" in the road where the famous "Alices Restaurant" and Hwy35
(Skyline Blvd) are at. We would continue on Hwy 84 going towards the
small town of La Honda (Not much there).
Still driving on Hwy 84 which now turns into La Honda Rd .La Honda Rd
will dead end into Hwy 1.

We would take Hwy 1 south stopping at various points for little breaks
to stretch the legs and to get some photos. There is a ton of state parks
on the way down which have restrooms which I'm sure many of us will
need to use. The fee to park in these lots at the state parks is
$6.00.Once paid keep the receipt and it can be used at any other state
park for other restroom breaks that day.

Once we get down to the Santa Cruz area Hwy 1 will end up in town. We
will need to stay on Mission St ( Cabrillo Hwy ) which will get us back
onto Hwy 1 so we can continue south.
Here's the link the that area map in Santa Cruz to get us to Hwy 1 South.

I figured we could stop in Marina at Round Table Pizza at 3120 Del Monte
Blvd. Marina, CA 93933 for some grubb and to shoot the bull and do some
admiring of the cars. Everyone could also buy their own food so we don't
have some poor soul having to use his credit card and having to pay too
much. Afterwards we could head over to Sand City which is only a couple
of exits up for some Starbucks. They have a huge parking lot that could
take all of us in.

I also suggest that everyone bring some water and some snacks with them since this will be a long run with all the stopping.

The cruise is about 3 hours long with stops. We should plan on meeting up at 9:30 and leave by 10am, that should put us at the Pizza place by 1pm, perfect time for lunch.

There might be a few changes to the cruise route to make things a bit more interesting.
