High today of 82*,clear skies and light breeze.
Got the Cobra out,way too nice to miss a ride.

Went by my Dad's house to show it off to Debra. She and her husband are certified carnuts. His main thing is running the drags,Outlaw Street Class, high 8's in the 1/4.

She is a Registered Nurse and EX refugee from Katrina.I say EX because she has settled in Dallas and moved on with her life. She never was a 'victim'.Debra helps my Dad out three days a week as he recoups from his heart surgery.
She and her husband were two of those people we all saw on the news walking and swimming thru water up to their necks. They got to firm land and walked out of N.O..They made it to Texas with nothing but the clothes on their backs, got work and have never looked back.
I really admire their strength of charactor and guts.

Her reaction when she walked outside and saw it was priceless !
She called her husband on her cellphone to let him know what she was getting to see.

I took some pictures of her with Cobra, then we went for a ride.
The only time she stopped smiling was when I would nail it.Then her laughter almost drowned out the sidepipes.

Re: guts
Her husband had just recently retired out of the Marines after 20 years at the age of 37.No doubt that played a big part.
