Tru,
Your Fed Ex experiences are like some here. It seems to depend on which driver runs this route more than anything. Once they stopped and tried to deliver a big box to me and I didn't have anything ordered so I told them it wasn't mine. We looked at the address and name on the box and it should have gone to some person in Anderson, a small town about 15 miles south of here. The Fed Ex driver told me if I didn't sign for the package, they would send it back as not accepted. I asked her why they couldn't take it back to Redding and send it to the correct person in Anderson. She said it didn't make any difference who refused delivery, once she entered that in her log the package goes back. That don't even sound reasonable to me, but I didn't sign for it and I wonder if the person ever got it. I always ask when I order anything who they are shipping it with and if they say Fed Ex I tell them to cancel the order. I am sure they aren't that way most places or they couldn't stay in business, but here it is like going to Reno and nearly everyone around here uses UPS. and they have their problems at times too, just not like Fed Ex in this area.
