Had some serious
oil temp's (140oC) going around Wakefield at the nationals which got me thinking about my choice of
oil and was interested to hear what people recommend. I used Castrol Magnatec 10W-40 but have found after a hot run once engine cools and is restarted quite a bit of smoke is sent out exhaust but with no hot runs on cold restarts there is no smoke at all. Could this be
oil choice?
ps/ standard GM sump & no oil cooler fitted.
