This is indeed an excellent tip; however, if your block isn't drilled for hydraulics or the hydraulic galleries are blocked off, there's no
oil to be had in this area, only that which drips from the rockers. This is also true of the lifters with the hole in the face. In these cases, most
oil getting to the cam and lifters is thrown up from the crank and rods, and that's a lot.
