Hey Sportyworty, If you are gon'a trailer the car then get 'em chromed. If you are driving the Cobra like a real man, then go and get some VHT, FlameProof coating. flat black # SP-102, 1,500 degree F. DON'T use the crap from Home Depot. You must get a 1,200 degree or higher paint. If you have the burn mark from some stupid person then use a little Scotch Brite gently on the area. This is not rocket science stuff. The VTH that I mentioned will last about 5 months. I usually repaint mine about 4 times a year. But then again I drive over 1,000 miles a month. My last Cobra had over 45,000 miles and this one has over 13,000 in seven months. As for the flowing smoothly, that is up to you, you can hold the can real close of you can hold it away and get a better pattern. John
