Jdog, what about those alloy heads? I figured THEY would be a bigger problem than carb and cam.

I figured my 'street stock' 600 cfm vacuum secondaries would be acceptable, they SHOULD be on the 'acceptable' green dot list in Calif. My cam is a flat tappet, but still might be to aggessive, but I'd bet with proper tuning my engine setup WOULD pass the 'gross polluter' standards applicable to ALL cars\years. OEM heads and intake, both date coded 1964. I would use 1964 and register as "year of motor" if I ever needed to deal with the Cailf shuffle.

The only way they would 'know' what cam you got is when you fail the 'gross polluter' standards. But sportyworty comments would apply in that case.
