Hi Joe,
It was a little over 2 hrs each way. The ride was terrific.

The GT40 is a real driving machine. The Taconic was clean (of Troopers) to boot. I had my trusty Valentine1 although most everybody was doing 80. Once I exited off the Pkwy, the real fun begun on those deserted twisty backroads. The car died suddenly on the way back, and with the help of some enthusiasts who stopped to help, we figured out it was a bad crimp on the main power connector to a relay I installed at the ignition switch. I also discovered that the bolts on the inner CV joints of the transaxle were coming loose (I guess from all that spirited driving). I have to drill them all and safety-wire them this winter.
Cheers!
