Wouldn't the smaller carburetor likely give MORE torque in the lower RPM range though? I would like to see what your torque curve looks like. Maybe the answer is as simple as pulling some ignition timing out of it, but I'm thinking that if I REALLY wanted to tame it down, less C.R. would be the only way to go.
