Thanks all, I'm gonna forward this link to Santa.
Anybody got photos up close of what they looked like (I assume naugahyde) and attachment issues up around dash? Do I have to line the little tits along the dash board, too?
I always thought they looked really cool, one of the defining elements of a Cobra, but nobody seems to have or use them much. Is there something wrong with them (flap in the breeze too much, make it unable to shift gears comfortably, or something) that made them fall from grace? Did originals cover both sides, with a zipper down the middle? Or just passenger side with smooth seem on the medial edge? Did they actually work in the event of rain? I've got a soft top which fits
really tight (I think its shrunk over the years or something), but can't figure out how to get in the damn car when it's on, without a jaws of life on standby.
Of course, with a black, uninsulated tonneau in the Texas sun, you could one-up Domino's Pizza, and put some raw pizzas on the passenger seat, and leave the store immediately, and when you got to the house, they'd be ready.
