I had found my cam specs.

I/E 242/248 0.670/0.677

idles well. On a previous engine (that blew up), I had a slightly wilder cam, I think 248/256 or something like that. I like this cam better, better low speed response and cruising rpm smoothness, without giving much on top end, that is up to 6500. In fact, as I'm presently rebuilding the "other" engine, actually, I'm having Eric rebuild it for me, I'm going to put this slightly milder cam in it. It's a stroked shleby block, 480 ci, with 10.5 CR, ported Edel 428 heads, single 4BBl, sidewinder intake, holley HP950. I'm curious how this engine will compare to my other engine, different displacement and heads, but otherwise similar. This engine will be dyno'd on the stand and also in the car.
