Check that Kristen. The track is actually in Caddo Mills. Between Royce City and Greenville on I-30. Round trip from my house in Heath I only put on 45 miles that day, including the racing. There is even a Exxon station across the street if you make a bunch of runs.

Miles, I was warned by my buddy who races rails that drag racing can really tear up the differential in these independent suspensions. So I wasn't too concerned about the tire spin. Second, release the clutch on the last yellow, not the green. That will save you .6 seconds in reaction time. (It's all shown on the slip they give you after each race). Third, the burn out is VERY easy. They have a trough with water in pre stage. You can burn and heat up until your hearts content. And last, I beat the Mitsubishi by one second. (Oh yeah, he did have two passengers with him).

On the fourth run, I was against a souped up Mercedes. He beat me by .1 second. He was trying out his new wheels and race tires, then this week he is going to run nitres.

Oh yeah, before I went, I replaced my rev limiter chip with a 6000 to protect the engine. Surprising how fast you can hit that limit.

OK, OK. You guys have twisted my arm. If anyone is interested and the weather holds out, I'll go again. Last one of this month is this Sunday. It's called "Fun & Grudge". ANYBODY can race ANYTHING! $15 for all the runs you can make.
