My oil pressure gauge needle started to stick after 8K miles. Eventually it got so bad I had to rap the glass with my knuckles to get it to register properly. It has since been replaced (with another Smiths, for originality's sake).

Personally I feel that Auto Meter makes a superior gauge, but you have to consider the fact that these cars vibrate quite a bit and are exposed to more elements (heat, cold, moisture). It's a fairly harsh operating environment for any gauge, regardless of manufacturer.
