I am definately going to talk to Joe before the build. Glad to hear that your engine is so far trouble free. Joe definately knows his stuff and he truly opened up once i showed up with the deposit.
Is your 427 a center oiler and if so a marine block?
Reason being he had offered for the same $$ to build me a 427CO, but he says " He thinks it is a marine block" and he had to use two cylinder sleeves. I was hesitant to go with it and went with the 428 which is a service block. The 427 was going to have extra work on the heads so it was very tempting.
