I routed mine to pull from the front of the carb. My engine mounts were modified to move the engine as far back as possible. As a result, the rear of the engine is at about the same lattitude (proper word?) as the pedal mount which results in some bind. Mounting forward is no big deal. Just reverse the throttle cable bracket and mount to the lower part of the carb arm that actuates the throttle plate (as opposed to the top of the arm for rearward pull). I had to cut a small piece of aluminum for use as a bracket to extend the throw to fully open the throttle. My setup employs a Holley aluminum bracket and a Lokar universal cable.
