I imagine the Gateway Oval could be tough, Mo ol buddy...but I didn't run into problems with anything coming out of the breathers running 6-7,000 on the FONTANA SUPERDUPERFREEKINGSPEEDWAY during SAAC in 2005.
Come on, I know it's not all modern and pretty, but it's assactly the way they did it on the originals running high engine speeds all damn day at the tracks, and for some doggone reason....it still works.
KISS...still a valid concept. NASA spent a bunch of money with Fisher to invent the Space Pen to work in zero gravity. The Russians used pencils.
