Default pump in a ERA 289 FIA

Don C,

If you don't need an electric pump, don't run it...complete pitha.

Why I ran one is a long story...a very fresh story as I have just had to replace the Holley Blue pump at 11,000 miles...sounded like a cement mixer from new, and started leaking fuel out the weep hole...the motor shaft seal is gone.

This time I used the Holley Red pump...(don't need all the pressure, and already have a regulator) .

Your car is a 427 but maybe these photos will give you ideas.

I also have a "collision impact" electric shut off switch...mounted on the frame upright just ahead of the drivers door and below the dash...think I got it from Pegasus.

Hope I can attach some photos...trying.

Pete
