The weather in Western Washington has been dismal to say the least these past two months. As a result, I have managed to get a few “off season” projects done.
Carbon fiber spats were installed, the starter switch was replaced and a trunk hold open rod has replaced the PVC pipe. The side pipes were ceramic coated (polished aluminum finish), headlight stone guards installed, the ignition coil was upgraded and Carrera coil-over shocks purchased and hopefully installed this weekend. The wheels were removed and cleaned along with the brake calipers. The remote
oil filter lines were replaced with braided stainless steel ones and both fuel filters were changed. For a little extra bling a fuel pressure gauge was added. Items still on the list are a passenger grab bar and a complete waxing. Today was 41* and sunny, so to prevent the tires from getting flat spots and to get rid of the winter gas a 40 minute drive was in order. So what have the rest of you been doing?
