I just bought a Bendpak 9000lbs four post and set it up a couple of weeks ago.
It seems to be a very well built liift.
Bendpak is a comercial lift approved for service shops. Some of the lifts are only intended for storing cars. I think it has to do with the safety stops. For me the safety is important. If I am standing under my car I need to be sure its not going to squash me like a bug.
There is about five hundred dollars difference in price between a Bendpak and several other lifts.
