A CCP is a Concealed Carry Permit for you to wear a gun under your shirt of coat. You can wear one openly on Govt. land, but they prefer that you carry it out of sight so they don't get calls from people about someone walking around with a gun. Darn deer hunters with high powered rifles will call in and report anyone they see wearing a gun.
