Good luck with your setup Rupert, I think you will be very pleased with the outcome. Don't be afraid to experiment with the amount of vacuum advance to find out what the engine likes best. By comparison, on my 351 I have 14° initial at idle, 8° manifold vacuum advance, and 35° total (vacuum disconnected) all in at 2800 RPMs.
