When you get a chance, I would like to hear your thoughts about Pantera ownership. I have wanted one since the early 70's, and have come close to pulling the trigger. But with some of the issues with them, I have always opted for something else.
Currently, I check the Pantera sites just about everynight. My 1st color of choice is Grabber Blue. There was one on PI that did not last long.

All of the issues Pantera's had can easily be addressed. The cooling system is and old one, but has long since had a solution. With a good aluminum radiator, good flowing water pump, and good electric fan or fans, the cooling problem is solved. You can also replace the cooling tubes that run from the rad to the motor for even better flow. PI sells
EVERYTHING for the Pantera's to make them even more of the super car they started out.
The earlier cars ('71/'72) had minor electrical issues.. but, look a little better on the outside (no big bumpers). The later cars ('73/74) have better electrical systems and the single pod style dash (the early cars have a two pod dash).
Anyway, all the little problems with Pantera's can easily be taken care of. And OMG... a good running and sounding Pantera is a SWEEEEEET thing.
As I said before... I
WILL own another Pantera some day.. It will come from PI... and, I'll park it right next to my SuperFormance Cobra.
