From someone who moved from my adopted state of AZ in Tucson, the 15 years I lived in the Catalina foothills were the greatest. The day I moved was the worst.
(Living at the base of the Blue Ridge in NC isn't too bad, though.) Driving down Campbell Ave. from above Sunrise in the morning and back up in the evening every workday was a blast, particularly when driving my road-race prepped Mustang. Never had to worry about frost on the Windshield let alone snow. And nearly every morning and evening was a coloe show put on by the rising and setting sun.
The best place in the world to live, but with one problem . . . too many are taking advantage of the dry heat and moving in.
