OK, my 2001 SPF car was registered in Wa state. The pink slip showed 2001 SuperFormance. I went to my local DMV here in calif and they took my pink, I paid my sales tax (Grr), and I was given registration type print out. On the top page it says "SMOG insp required and Verification of VIN by Peace Officer or authorized DMV employee". On the bottom registration section it says "Incomplete application-see above-this is not an operating permit".

I know I need the SB100. But, do I need to hit the BAR for an inspection to get the SB100? Or, is SB100 just a DMV thing?

What should my next step be?
