Sal,

Something you may want to think about in the parts line up is the Spec Stage III clutch. During the TKO thrash a couple of weeks ago some folks said some Tremec dealers believed the Spec Stage III stuff might not be the best choice for the transmission because of how aggressive they believed the engagement was at launch and under power.

A smoother engagement and a softer pedal would be a dual disc street deal like the McLeod Street Twin or their new at the SEMA show and about to be released this month street twin that uses your OEM flywheel. For what it is worth Ford did use a dual disc setup in the new Ford GT.

Another consideration is the dual disc has, not suprisingly, about twice the power transmission capacity of even a very aggressive single disc but with a silky engagement and a easy to push in clutch pedal.
