Was also going to build a street car. Actually like their looks better but opted for the S/C for resale value. Drove Peter nuts for a while switching back and forth but I started looking at all the track and club events that I could get involved in with a comp. car (need a roll bar) and...oh well.. If your getting the roll bar you might as well get the side pipes and if your getting the side pipes you might as well get the comp. brakes...and the oil cooler was just a buck or two..and the optional rear end assembly with the outboard brakes would be great for cooling and the 3.07 diff will be great for the long straights at Sebring (Florida here) and blah blah. In the end, its a comp car.
