Opened thread link and OH dear it's mine.

I had std AU mounts large round and very tall, and in my case the RH mount was twisted badly from the crash the donor car had.

Advice I got and followed was to fit the std 302 mounts dating back to suit XY sort of era I think. Rectangular low and worked a treat for me - except I cut off lower half of drivers side serpantine mount arrangement. Did this to clear steering chassis mounts in my case, top half holds alternator and on passengers side I made up a new bracket off the 3 engine bolt points to hold other pulleys.

I'm reading a subframe mod here but I'd not rush into such an option as it can affect engineering approval of course, can you shift mount points?
