If you research the basic question, "Will these heads work well on the street"? You find the almost universal answer to be "No" (from trade magazines and experts, etc). Same thing can be said concerning the high riser heads I'm running on my ERA, with 2X4 no less.

Perhaps it IS the light wieght of the car that makes the difference? I just don't have a problem running the BIG ported high risers, works well on the street for me! Engine idle rpm is around 1000, doesn't like lower. Throttle response is better around 1500-2000, but I suspect that has as much to do with my cam as my heads.

I'd run a tunnel port in a heart beat (2X4 would be even cooler, I like that look).
