About 130 MPH (indicated) on the front straight. I could go faster but am still working on developing the balls to stay longer on the throttle longer before turn 1. There is no forgiveness if the brakes don't work on that turn.
That straight-a-way is a good example of the gearing problem. I wind out 4th
gear about 120-125 and go into 5th (.68 overdrive). Hard to believe but it feels like the car is lugging. It is to much of a gap between the gear ratio's.
If I had to do it again I would go with a .84 5th gear(TKO 600), or better yet and best choice would be a t-56, 6 speed.
BTW tires are Nitto drag radials all around.
