Default ERAFIA Oil Filter Clearance

ERAFIA owners:

We put in a small block "Dart" block motor in my FIA over the weekend and the block seems to be wider at the oil filter mount. There is not enough room to screw off the short oil filter off the oil cooler lines fitting.

Has anyone used a right angle housing to relocate the fileter straight down?

Can the one that aims the filter straight foward be used?

Frankly I don't feel like having to use an engine hoist every time I need to change the filter. (And, Yes, yes, I know, at the rate I roll the mileage up, I'll only have to change it once every ten years.)
