Doc, I also live in Miami close to UM. You should also take a look at ERA's. They are an incredible car. The engineering design that went into them is surpassed, in my opinion, only by the Kirhkam's. Every detail received an incredible amount of focus. Their cars weigh out about the same as the other cobra's but their chasis is a little heavier (about 125 lbs more) due to using 3" * 4" square tube; and their body is a little lighter due to some of the aluminum panels. They are as solid as a bank vault. I had the opportunity to drive one last summer and was really impressed. You can buy a painted roller, or a turnkey, or if you want to build it, a kit. Have fun, the cobras are a blast to drive. I had my first one for 20 months, and I put my deposit on my ERA in early January. My painted roller (or turnkey minus) will be ready in a few months. Rick
