I don't know if this has anything at all to do with the topic, but just for informational purposes, I just purchased a Cobra this year from an owner in NY. I'm in NY as well. He had it titled in NY as a "1984 Homebuilt". I retitled it the same way, but haven't registered it yet. I have no idea if this "homebuilt" title is good or bad, I guess I'll find out next year when registration time comes. Just thought I'd throw it out there as another possible option.
