Check with an engineer before selecting your motor. This is important as you don't want to shell out a lot of bucks for an engine only to find when you try to register the car it won't meet the emissions regs.
People on here will have a lot of opinions on what is the right and wrong motor. The right motor is the one that fits your budget and makes you happy whilst at the same time gets the car through rego. That's all that matters.
