Then I decided to install the Summit one-size-fits-all driveshaft loop. It's kinda tight in between those frame tubes, so I've been slowly chopping and drilling a little at a time. And then I saw Dean's blown driveshaft photos.
I realized that my shaft, driveshaft that is, wasn't optimal. So a couple of weeks ago, I dug up the best local driveshaft guy and we designed a better unit. You know, Spicer 1350 U-joints (no lube), chromoly shaft, forged yoke, ARP fasteners, racing paint: the works. Then there was the time spent at the steel manufacturer...
