I'm glad I told you to call Dell. That is one of the reasons I have always bought Dell computers. If it is within warranty, they usually bend over backwards to fix the problem. Also, they normally use excellent quality components. Between work and home I've probably had 5 Dell laptops and 8 Dell desktops in the last 15 years. I've found that most "early" problems are hardware related and then it swings to software problems after you load 50 different programs and it gets over the warranty period. But I've had very few hardware problems with my last 3 Dell computers - one fan ... that's all.
I'm glad to see that all the lovin' and money you've splurged on Frenchy has finally started to pay off.
