If you go with an engine builder such as Roush, then they will keep your Ford Sportsman, Boss or Dart block (upgrade) at 327 cubic inches or standard bore, which is something I thought is/was a big plus. At 331 cubic inches, the engine builder is giving the block a .030 overbore, which makes no difference on a Dart block, which offers plenty of material to work with. Also, if you're thinking of a 331, the AFR 185's may be a better choice, but contact AFR for the correct recommendation based on your specs. I found them to very helpful in the past.
