I believe the newer CER's have a lower trunk floor of about 1" and are more "square". They took out the angles, expanded under the rear fenderwells and made more trunk space. This also changed some of the turnk "frame" and made manufacturing and welding the supports easier and a little faster. The fuel tank might have been redesigned to accomodate the lower trunk floor. I believe the rear suspension and body supports remains the same. If I had waited 6-9 months I would have a much larger trunk to fit more stuff for attending the BASH! (CER #1008)
