Fred - Did you really have to post your "front end" problem on Friday morning? About 3 hours after reading your post, I was driving my Merc about 10 miles from my house and all of a sudden I heard something dragging on the ground. Pulled over and looked underneath the car. The drivers side tie rod end had broken. What do I do now? Call AAA?

NO! I just drove it slowly about 5 miles to a gas station that a friend of mine owns! Here .... fix it! One hour later, NO problemo! And he only charged my $53. I hate crawling under daily drivers.

I blame you (and Frenchy) for my misfortune. Don't ya just love the engineers that designed all of the auto components without a zerk fitting. Oh, they are hermetically sealed so you do not have to grease them. Grease this and shove it where the sun don't shine.

I have never had a battery fall out of my car.
