I need to run a 16ga wire through the firewall and would like to use the multi-hole socket on the firewall located on the driver's side but can not figure out how this device works. Does it come apart and if so, what is the trick? Twisting and polking just does not seem to work. If the wires run straight through, is there a trick for "shoving" them through?
