Was just having a friendly dig at questionably the most outspoken anti darksider out there. Personally I have no preference, other then having to choose an engine that allows me to register my car. unfortunately under the current regulations, and in performace for the dollar, the gen3 really is close to the only choice in NSW. Given that, I find it hard that anyone could be overly critical of that engine choice.
Yes you could put a boss in there, and if anyone wants to go that way, thats great. But I dont even know if my kit would fit it, plus I dont want to have to take the engine out to change an exhaust header gasket. Plus apart from the badge, which is more like an original cobra engine....push rod v DOHC... etc.
Its all fun, and hope you didnt take offence, as none was meant.
Myself....I dont expect to be at the pointy end of the field, as I just dont have the budget to do that, but if I can be half competitive and drive my car there...well thats enough for me
