Ron,

Those are fine for the garage and the house. You could use on in a pinch on the car, but they are slightly corrosive in nature and would need to be hosed down immediately to not cause further problems (other than the fire it was going to put out). For strictly a cobra based onboard set up, the AFF systems are the best as they work on the fire at the source, and do not dissipate when exposed to open air.
