You just might have a point here. Reminds me of my '67 Mustang I owned back in the '70's. I had a 390 CID putting out about 335 horse from the factory. Naturally I tweaked the timing a little and put a 780 CFM Holley on it and never did know what its top end was. I was too scared! At 120 MPH I could feel the front end getting light and I still had plenty of pedal left before floor boarding it. so I'm guessing between 130 to maybe 140? I really don't know.
