A large rock hit my windshield three years ago and chipped it. A local window shop told me it was to large to repair. I have not replaced it because it is on the passenger side. I might loss points at the car show but who cares. Can you buy tinted Lexan? If so I would replace mine with Lexan.
It a good chip. I got it when Coach and I drove 300 miles to give a kid with cancer a ride. On the way home a large truck with a load of gravel drop one onto my windshield. The chip reminds me of the kid and that day. Great memories. Cliff Jacobs had a great out look on life and death. He was a special person. I glad we got to met him. He died about a month later.
