Hi Mike, I use Castrol 20W-50 and note 30 or so idle pressure and generally 55-60 range going down the road. Cold idle is higher. Initially I had a mechanical
oil gauge which gave about these same readings, I have since changed to an electric gauge with sensor in the fitting at the driver's side front of the block. I have a remote oil filter and oil cooler setup and have a 20PSI switch out at the remote mount that will turn on a red dash light if oil pressure is ever 20 PSI or lower. It has never come on with the engine running. What are your numbers?
