Ok, many that went on the first cruise have said they are ready to do another one, so here is a proposal:
I've heard some really good things about the Highway 4 drive.
I believe some of the Corvette clubs do this on an annual basis. Maybe some of you know more than I do. I went to Google maps and checked it out and here is a proposed route.
Start at the Cracker Barrel restaurant at 35W and 380 intersection in Denton.
Head west on 380 through Decatur, Bridgeport and Jacksborough to Hwy 4.
Head south on Hwy 4 through Graford, Palo Pinto, Santo, Lipan, Thorp, Spring, Granbury, Acton, Cleburne, Sand Flat, Cuba and Grandview. End at 35W just outside Grandview and head home.
This looks like it would be a bit shorter than the first cruise and easily doable in one day. Maybe meet for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel and have lunch in Granbury?
