Just got a call from Tony. I will meet him at Bills Friday around noon and we will close the deal on the Coupe. It may not be completely ready for me to bring home, but at this stage what is a few more days. Most of the major work is done and I need Tony to go through the software with me for the fuel mapping and such. Bill still has a couple of minor things once he gets the new computer in and all working. Parking brake adjustment, check the headlights to see when they go off when hitting a bump with them on high beam, Have the stereo hooked up and the air conditioner pumped down from the lubricant and charged and then drive it for a while and park it to test for any
oil or water leaks. I have never had but one car in my life that never had small
oil drips and that was the Cobra I sold so I expect this one to have a couple of small ones. I do like the fact it gets its 530 horse and 650 pound of torque on pump gas and is track legal. My goal is to maybe have it here home sometime near the end of next week unless the stuff goes faster than expected.
