Default Vintage racing your Cobra replica

While attending an SCCA inspection day at G&S Autoworks in Oxford, NJ this past Sunday I noticed one of the Tech inspectors looking over my Cobra which happend to be in the Chassis dyno. Out of curiousity I asked if they had a class for my car. He said they have a vintage class and replica Cobras are welcome. He did a once over on my car and told me a few moditications were all that was needed to run with the SCCA.
1. NO slicks, DOT tires only.(Hoosier street T.D.)
2. four point roll bar with side door intrusion protection.
3. Oil breather catch can plumbed off the valve covers.

That was about all my car needs.

I asked what other types of cars would be in that race and here is where it gets real disappointing.

Porshe twin turbo 911's
Mustang and Camaro former GT 1 cars.
Just about every car that you can think of that are better handling than Cobras.

I think I'll stick to open tracking.
