Burnd has good advice but my experience has been that you don't need to take it out on the road for 30 minutes. Let it sit in the shop and run for 5 minutes. Adjust the rpms around a bit up to 3000 rpms or so. That is usually way more than needed to locate the leak. The problem with taking it out on the road for 30 minutes is that if the leak is even halfway bad, you've blown died
oil all over your motor and undercarriage making it more difficult to find exactly where the leak is coming from.
Try the 5 minute shop test first. If you can't see anything after that you can always increase the run time or take it out on the road.
