I have already made the boot location decision but I was given a perfectly good exide battery from an SS ute so I want to try and make that fit to save the pennies for now. What did the rocket battery cost? and is it one of those gel type batteries?
Notice the battery disconnect key in the boot, how does that go for race events? Is it a case that you simply must leave your boot unlocked when racing?

I'm running both a sandwich and spin on adaptor so am running out of room clearance to the side rails.
I can tee into the exit port heading to the
oil cooler, this is the first port the hot engine
oil exits out of the engine, to get the most accurate temperature of the
oil outside of the engine itself.
I like the sound of the by-pass thermostat but think it will have to wait for now.
